State Regulations
In Alabama Accredited Food Handler Training is mandatory in two counties; Jefferson & Mobile county require approved training for all food handlers in a foodservice establishment.
If you are in Mobile or Jefferson County you will need to take your Food Handler Certificate to the county Health Department and pay an administration fee.
Even if the training is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that your staff take this training, so they understand the basics of Food Safety Training.
